Ninth day post-op.
The big patch of steri-strips cover my scar from the patella tendon graft. This is where they sliced my knee open to harvest 1/3 of my patella tendon in order to reconstruct the ligament for my new ACL. The tiny “x” scar, which was featured in yesterday’s post, is from the arthoscopic part of the procedure. The other few steri-strips on the right side of my knee are also part of the arthoscopic procedure where they repaired some torn meniscus. Stay tuned for the big reveal….
