		<description><![CDATA[Crack open Vitamin E capsules and massage in daily. May help with how the scar heals.  Also, use SPF chapstick on the scar when you eventually bare your legs.  Sun can really make it appear much worse.

That is good to know about the strips. I actually have still kept them on, with the exception of taking two off. But I agree with keeping them on longer. Also, I just started using Mederma. Have you used it? Happy with the results?]]></description>

I know each surgery is different, but my doctor said the longer I could keep the sterile-strips on, the better my scar would look. Of course, if you&#039;re over two weeks out, it&#039;s probably as mended as it can be, and now you can start using something like Mederma to help with the &#039;scar&#039;. 
Although, a battle wound isn&#039;t all bad, is it?
