Now that I am finished with my crutches, I want to get them out of my apartment. Same thing with my two knee braces, when I officially cut the cord with those–hopefully next week. Being in San Fran this week made me hold onto them just a little longer.
Best way to say goodbye to these items? By giving hope to someone else who needs it. That said, I’m going to donate all of these items.
There’s a lot of worthy causes out there where you can donate your crutches–Salvation Army, Veteran’s Hospitals and nursing homes, to name a few.
Here’s a great e-how article on the best way to do this. Read it here.

My name is Norris Hohn, and I corrently lived in Hollywood Florida.I have relocated to Florida from New York since September of 1994.
Since I have developed a problem with both of my legs due to some bad medecine I have received in New York.
I have used all types of knee pads for the past years, which is of no help.my legs just get worst each day.
I have been driving since I have relocate hear from New York.
Now I ‘ve lost my car and job and it is a problem to get arround.
I came accross this website(brtterbraces.com) where I’ve seen the right brace and suport for both knees and feet.
I have no money to get them.
I’m wondering if someone out there could get me the ones I need.May God bless you for ever a million fold for your love and kindness. You can reach me at the email above or call me at (954)296 7158.
Thank you
Norris Hohn
