Hey! Three months could work for you. You just might have to settle for a smaller heel than you originally thought about. Don't get discouraged! Test yourself out slowly, and you'll get there! After my end-of-May surgery, I had a goal to dance at a wedding by the end of July. It worked!
Hey girl, How long did you wait after surgery to wear the heels? In May, for my prom, it will be about 3 months after acl reconstruction but I was told that's too early to wear heels. What do you think!? Let me know-I'm ready to be a fairytale princess for the night but flats just won't work!! :(

I remember walking into PT with the littlest heels I own (maybe 1/2", or slightly taller) and getting THEE worst look from my trainer. "What are THOSE?!" he said as he pointed to my feet. I was thinking, they're too short to do any harm, right? "They're only THIS (holding up index finger and thumb) tall!" but another trainer pointed out, "yes, but they're only THIS (doing same motion I did, but sideways) wide!" ....

This was when I was back around 6-8 weeks, so still a crucial time. But since then I've worked heels back into my wardrobe, and am having no issues. I just make sure to break during the day to stretch out my hamstrings and calves, even if it means doing it in the ladies room at work...

keep up the good work!

I told myself I would never wear high heels again but you inspired me to try this morning.

I think there is something magical in a heel because my walking was great, despite the incline and elevation.

4-inch stilettos are really tempting now!

Ok, maybe I will wait a bit for that...
