I stumbled upon your blog when I searched "athletes with torn ACL," and I'm so glad I did! I really appreciate your positive attitude. I tore my ACL, both miniscus and PCL (partially) and also slightly fractured the tibial plateau. I have surgery scheduled about a month from now. My doctor prefers to replace the ACL with a ligament from a cadaver. Can you please tell me why you chose to use your patella tendon? From what I understand, the cadaver is the most common. Thank you.
