This is the true story of how a life-long, yearround competitive athlete endured her first-ever sports injury playing recreational indoor soccer in the winter of 2009. "Yes Knee Can!" provides a first-person narrative that brings the reader up to speed from the day she heard the unmistakeably "pop" of the ACL snap right under her kneecap, through the struggles of hobbling through life (and the icy, wintery streets of Chicago) on a knee that frequently gave out, to the hopeful transformation of physical therapy and finally to through the recovery and learning how to take baby steps all over again. The right knee arthoscopy and ACL reconstruction surgery is scheduled for May 20, 2009. Be there for all the drama, live photo updates and knee videos on the road to a hopeful recovery.
